Clinique Quick Bronze Self Tanner Review
Although I am normally a fan of Clinique’s skin care line, I have to say I was less than impressed with their self tanner - more specifically the “Quick Bronze” self tanner. I liked the fact that the cream base was deeply colored/tinted, because now that I’m an experienced “self tanner”, I know the importance of having a tinted color so you can see where you’ve put the stuff on and where you haven’t, plus it gives you a nice little instant color boost if you’re white as a ghost, which I tend to let myself be between applications of bronzer and tanner.
While I like the fact that the Clinique Quick Bronze was colored nicely (a deep rich brown/copper color), the formula was simply too thick and sticky for me. I tend to like it a little more sheer. I don’t have a problem with thicker cream based self tanners usually, because they absorb into the skin and evaporate eventually, but with this I felt as though I had a sticky film on my skin all day.
Sorry Clinique - Thumbs down on this self tanner, since there are plenty out there that will give you the same color without the excessive stickiness.
