Cellulite Cream Reviews

Filed under: Miscellaneous "Fun Stuff" — ProductAddiction @ 4:51 pm

The never ending quest for smooth, lump free thighs and butts has been an unreachable goal for many women, hence the increasing rate at which women are seeking other women’s reviews on cellulite creams and treatments to be sure they are getting something that a reasonable number of other women have experienced a good amount of success with.

What with the plethora of salon and spa treatments available to women - at a high cost usually, upwards of a hundred to two hundred bucks a pop many times, it’s hard to say which one of these costly procedures will actually get you results.

And you have to wonder, can’t you get the same quality results by applying these methods to yourself at home?  Well, there are a few cellulite creams that will help you achieve excellent cellulite reduction results, and the following are going to be celluilite cream reviews to sink your eager teeth into and get started on the road to self-treatment for cellulite.

And trust me, even if you get salon or medical spa treatments for cellulite, it is an ongoing battle.  No matter what, cellulite will always come back if some sort of maintenance regimen is not employed, but once you have reduced the cellulite to begin with, whether at home or through professional treatments, the upkeep seems like a breeze compared to the part where you’re “just getting there”.

The first product we are going to talk about actually has a few before and after pics here right below, and it’s called Revitol.  It’s no secret we’re a fan of the Revitol line of skincare products, and their mega powerful cellulite fighting cream is no exception to the rule.  It combines a very effective combination of retinoids, which are one of the top recommended ingredients for tightening the skin, caffeine extracts, which helps eliminate puffiness and surace water retention, and thereby helps reduce the appearance of cellulite, and a number of other top notch ingredients to fight cellulite and tighten the skin with regular use.

The more and longer you use it, the better your results.  You can see how other women have reviewed the Revitol product as well, and see more before and after pictures here as well.  I would also like to suggest a few items to help your results along with this product, I use them and they’ve benefitted me a great deal and are a regularly, every day use for me now because I believe they just impact your results faster as well as more effectively.  First, you may want to search the net or your local drug store for a cellulite massager.

It’s a simple device that usually has a wooden back, and almost looks like a paddle brush, only with no handle and with much shorter nubs on it which are not bristles, but rather are made of rubber.  These prongs are EXCELLENT for helping to deliver the cellulite cream’s ingredients much deeper below the skin’s surface so that it can help increase circulation at a deeper level.  More importantly though, the prongs on the cellulite massager help break up the very thing that causes cellulite, and that is the collagen bands that cause the puckering.  You see, as we age, our collagen stiffens, and hence these collagen bands begin to contract.

They stiffen around the fat in our fattier areas, so as our fat cells grow, the constriction of the collagen bands along with the growth of the fat cells creates a bulging effect, which results in - you guessed it - that rippled, dimpled appearance of cellulite that is so common on the buttocks, the thighs and the stomach and is most often seen on women thanks to the hormone estrogen which makes the problem worse.

The combination of one of the recommended, best reviewed cellulite creams along with the use of a great cellulite massager and a little manual elbow grease every night - just a few minutes will do - is the ideal way to reduce your cellulite - and it’s a lot cheaper than getting a fancy in-office cellulite treatment that lasts just as long.

Some other great cellulite creams that are fairly well reviewed are Nivea’s Cellulite cream, which also now comes with a patch formula that can be applied to problem areas overnight.  This is kind of cool because it behaves like a body wrap in a way, because the ingredients are staying on the skin, in direct contact, with nothing to rub them off or interfere until you take the patch off.  Although it gets mixed reviews, there have been some women with positive results from this, and it is reasonable priced.

Another cream that is still around and had some decent results when I used it years ago was one from University Medical.  Although it smelled like bleach, I did like the instant improvement it showed on my problem areas when applied, but was unsure of the actual long term effects.  I also wasn’t so sure about the claim that it actually reduced inches, because I never got this from the product, but the cellulite cream was definitely a bargain price, and it did the job that most other cellulite creams would do, and deserved a decent review.

I think the worst cellulite treatment cream I ever used was one by L’Oreal.  It was a gel and it came in a blue tube, although I think this particular product may not be available any more, it seemed as though it consisted almost entirely of alcohol, since it smelled very strongly of alcohol and seemed to evaporate off the skin almost as soon as it was applied - I felt it did not offer any tightening or toning benefits, and on top of that, I felt it may have dehydrated my skin.

We really just like the Revitol cellulite treatment product because it provides before and afters of some women who have had extraordinary results.  Just remember the massaging and you will definitely increase your reaction time as well as the improvement in your cellulite.  Patience, just like with any salon or professional cellulite treatment, is vital, and you must be consistent with your treatments to ensure the optimal outcome.

When massaging, use a circular motion, but make sure you are always going up toward the heart in your last most vigorous rubbing motion to be sure you are sculpting up, rather than down.  Remember, we are trying to defy gravity here, not help it pull us down more!
